This was one of my favourite projects that I did while at the NSW Department of Health. In 2008 the department implemented a free vision screening program for kids in NSW when they are four years old, before they start school. The program aims to pick up any vision problems that kids might have and correct them before they turn eight, when some eye conditions become permanent.
I worked with the program implementers and designed the StEPS logo (after about a hundred drafts!) and then developed the look of the posters and brochures from the logo to maintain a consistent branding. The photos of the impossibly cute kids were taken at a StEPS screening held in a local daycare centre.
