In 2011 I designed all the materials required for the NSW Child Protection and Wellbeing Interagency Conference – not a particularly catchy title, we generally referred to it within the team as the ‘Keep Them Safe’ conference. Keep Them Safe is a government report into the way child and family services are delivered across NSW government agencies, and from it came a five year plan (2009-2014) to improve the safety and wellbeing of NSW children and young people.
This conference was a review of the progress of the report, particularly within health services. It was a fairly small event, so I basically just designed the look and logo of the conference (the green leaf background of the cover comes from the original Keep Them Safe report) and produced all the advertising, signage, conference handbook, and collateral such as conference bags and lanyards.
